Paul McCobb Dining Set. If you have $3000 to spend on a mid-century modern dining set, this one is slightly imperfect. But Paul McCobb is a major name in mid-century modern design. This isn’t the only expensive mid-century modern item I’ve found on Craigslist today, but I love it.
$3000 in Overland Park. Here’s the link: Paul McCobb Dining Set.
Walnut Tiered Side Tables. It’s hard to see what the design of these looks like, but the wood looks beautiful.
$150 in Liberty. Here’s the link: Solid Walnut Tiered Side Tables.

China Cabinet. Looks enormous, nice condition.
$177 in Overland Park. Here’s the link: Display, China, or Book Case.
Phonograph. I think it’s working. Small and cute, plays 78s and LPs.
$40 in Overland Park. Here’s the link: Vintage Phonograph.

Lamp. Love the blue! Working!

St. Louis Craigslist
Your St. Louis Craigslist happenings:

End tables. I would be willing to bet these are Drexel tables with that caning on the bottom shelves. Why? Because I own a set of these as well, which I bought for roughly twice this price. Oh well. I love them and use them as bedside tables. They are a little on the big side for that, but it’s just plenty of room for books. Anyway, you can use them as accent tables or end tables. Very nice quality.
$40 in South St. Louis County. Here’s the link: 1960′s end tables (vintage).

Vintage 50s couch. Recently reupholstered in a green/beige pattern. Nice- I like the buttons and tapered legs. You could really make this work.
$120 in the Tower Grove neighborhood. Here’s the link: 50′s style couch.

Two matching white end tables with an interesting inset design- see the post.
$25 in Oakville. Here’s the link: 2 End Tables.

Round retro table. In pretty bad shape, but nothing some wood filler and paint couldn’t fix. Again, just don’t paint the brass. Clean it up and paint the wood veneer.
$15 in St Louis City. Here’s the link: Round Retro Wood Table.

Red leather club chair, which I am liking! The lines are nice. I cannot tell at all whether this is new or old, though. Probably newer than I would like it to be. But it’s not monstrously sized like a contemporary chair would be, and it would still look pretty great in a room with mid-century decor.
$25 in South City St. Louis. Here’s the link: Armchair.
